Isoniazid (INH) is a cornerstone drug in the treatment of TB. However, INH mono resistance poses a considerable challenge to effective TB control. Understanding genetic mutations responsible for INH resistance is crucial for the development of diagnostic tools and treatment strategies. Our study aims to identify and characterize the genetic mutations associated with INH mono resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates from patients in Goa. Also, our study aims to evaluate whether patients developing isoniazid mono resistant tuberculosis occurs more in patients with anti-TB treatment in the past.</p> Varnana Suresh A T Akshada M Vernekar Uday C Kakodkar Dr Sanjivani Keny Copyright (c) 2025 International Journal of Contemporary Research and Review http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-03-01 2025-03-01 16 02 20272 20275
