Abstract

This study aimed to establish how students’ perceived teaching effectiveness with the integration of kinesics teaching strategy affects the Science periodical test performance of indigenous learners. A questionnaire translated in the native dialect was used to gather the perception of indigenous learners on teaching effectiveness as well as their performance on periodical test. Ethical clearance was secured as well as permission from the concerned agencies. Data were statistically treated using the MS excel. Results revealed that a negatively high relationship between periodical test performance and kinesics specifically on emblems, illustrators, and regulators. Hence, further study is recommended to validate the findings and develop a kinesics teaching strategy as an emerging model for indigenous learners.
