Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work motivation, competence and job satisfaction on teacher performance, then to determine the effect of work motivation and competence on teacher job satisfaction , and to determine the effect of work motivation and competence on performance through teacher job satisfaction at SMK IT Bali Global Denpasar. The population of this study was all 62 IT teachers at Bali Global Denpasar, including 62 principals. The sample selection method uses census techniques, so the number of samples in this study was 62 people. Data analysis techniques using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results showed that (1) work motivation has a positive effect on performance; (2) Competence has a positive effect on performance; (3) work motivation has a positive effect on job satisfaction; (4) Competence has a positive effect on job satisfaction; (5) Job satisfaction has a positive effect on performance; (6) Work motivation has a positive effect on performance through teacher job satisfaction; (7); Competence has a positive effect on performance through job satisfaction of teachers at the SMK Bali Bali Global Denpasar.
