Abstract

Diversity management plays a significant role in a 21st century organization. This can be attributed to the fact that the effective management of diversity and equal opportunities leads to top notch functionalities in organizational systems such as improved revenues, highly motivated employees and optimization of the entire organizational teams. The dream of every human resource manager is the effective harnessing of all organizational resources which includes diversity management in other to achieve greater revenue, organizational performance and maximum reduction of conflicts. This paper offers insights into the role that human resource management plays in the management of diversities at workplace. It also offers workable solutions to the various challenges that can be encountered in the process of attaining a diversified workplace.
