Community Pharmacists: A study of Patient Views in Ujjain (M.P.)

Abstract

Health care systems in India are under increasing pressure to deliver better services to more people. Community Pharmacists are important link between Doctors and Patients. A study is here conducted to reveal perception of patients/ consumers about community pharmacist. The aim of the survey is to conduct an in-depth analysis of the patient satisfaction with pharmacy services delivered by pharmacist in community. The study was conducted in Ujjain city of Madhya Pradesh, India. The prepared questionnaire was given and filled by customers / patients at hospitals and medical shops and their views satisfaction and perception was assessed regarding pharmacists and healthcare system.
